Construction/Moving-in date:  2012/2013.

Living area: No measurements have been made, refer to överlåtelseavtal, alternatively you may contact the board with your apartment number to get this information.

Monthly rent: In the monthly rent, heat and warm water, laundry room and a storage unit is included. Electricity is not included in the rent.

Broadband/TV/Telephony: ComHem FiberLAN (bredband 100mb), cabel-TV (15 free channels + 8 paid channels) and IP-telephony is included in the rent. As a resident, you have to contact ComHem yourself to order the router, tv-box and/or telephony service.

Bostadsrättstillägg: The brf pays for the bostadsrättstillägg insurance for all apartments. This is a compliment to home insurance. The resident still has to have home insurance, as usual, but they do not have to pay for the bostadsrättstillägg. This service is provided by Vardia Försäkring AB.

Garage parking (heated): There are 51 parking spots in the garage that belong to the brf. These spots are located under the buildings and there is an entrance to each house from the garage. Contact the brfs financial manager Frubo for more information. A garage spot currently costs 650SEK/month. External tenants that are approved by the board pay 800SEK/month with 3 months term of notice.

Outside parking: There are 13 parking spots on Surtsögatan that belong to the brf. Contact the brfs financial manager Frubo for more information. A parking spot on the street currently costs 400SEK/month and has a 3 months term of notice.

Extra parking spot: You can rent extra parking spots, as long as there are free spots. Every apartment can rent one extra spot.

For extra spots, these additional rules apply:

  • 1 month term of notice
  • If a member that doesn’t have a parking spot needs one, your extra parking spot may be terminated
  • The one who has had their parking spot for the shortest time will be the first to be terminated

Extra parking permit: As a member, if you need an extra parking permit, you can buy from The Board for a price of 30SEK per piece.

Number of apartments/premises: The brf owns 81 apartments and 1 other premise. The brfs addresses are Surtsögatan 3, Skagafjordsgatan 3 & 5, Oddegatan 6 and the kindergarten at Surtsögatan 1.

Property management: The propetries management is handled by CEMI. Please see Fault reporting for contact details.

Överlåtelseavgift: Brf Surtsö takes a fee of 2.5% of the prisbasbelopp when an apartment is transferred.

Pantsättningsavgift: Brf Surtsö takes a fee of 1% of the prisbasbelopp for each mortgage that is registered on apartments in the brf.

Renovation: There are no plans for renovation.

Increasing the rent: There are no plans to increase the rent.
